Carving studio
- our studio holds on the tradition of a famous Carrara city – as a good known centre of marble sculpture. We keep on learning the old traditional technics and rendering them forward. Our main idea is to support traditional sculpture and share the ability and knowledge. If you join our studio, no matter if you´re beginner or professional, we´ll make as much as possible to help you to realize your project, teach you, enable you to learn new skills and give you advise. If you´re a professional and just need space and silence to work, come to us and feel free. If it´s your first time you touch the marble, we´re there for you to lead, show, help you to proceed effectively. You will be encouraged to develope your own ideas. We will discuss your projects and advise you how the best approach them and realize in marble.
We´re opened for you all the year, in the summer months you can join our sculpture courses – workshop program : marble carving, accomodation, sightseeing tours, culture program included.

The B&B ” I Ponti di Vara ” is situated in Miseglia, on the road that leads from Carrara to the marble quarries. It is built on four levels, tucked away in the green and tranquil hills with a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape (country, hills and quarries).
The area is very quiet.
